So-Kyokushin Summer Camp 2022 Report(UK)
On the weekend of July 29th to 31st So-Kyokushin UK held their 1st Organisation summer camp since Joining the So-Kyokushin Organisation.
The Camp was attended by 80+ students from 6 different countries and a mix of junior and senior students.

Shihan Mac and Shihan Cameron led the camp that was organised and hosted by Sensei Phill Sedgmond and Senpai Rhian Evans (Wales). Training sessions from Shihan Cameron were fantastic sessions, covering Bunkai, Foot work and Ground work giving great insight to defence strategies from the ground. The camp ran 15.5 hrs of classes over 7 sessions.
Sessions from Shihan Mac were of Ritsuzen and Kumite which led on perfectly from Shihan Camerons sessions throughout the weekend.
Sensei Phill broke 3 boards which were signed by all the So-Kyokushin Instructors that attended the camp as a lasting memory of the 1st So-Kyokushin UK Summer camp.
The camp developed a friendly atmosphere from the first session and continued throughout the weekend ending with a great family feeling at the end of the camp marking a very emotional moment for all.
We look forward to hosting more great events in the future and forging more friendships as we go.

On July 10, the kyu graduation test was held in the city of Canoas for more than 120 students from southern Brazil.

REPORT NORWEGIAN SO KYOKUSHIN SUMMER CAMP IN TROMSØ
9-12 of june could we finally after two year with covid restrictions wish students welcome to summercamp. 56 students had signed in this year, we had participations from England,Wales and Finland.
Cameron Quinn shihan from Australia was the main instructor, he is well known for his teaching and good seminars and also for writing The Budo karate of Mas Oyama.
Mac Robertson shihan from So Kyokushin UK was also present and did a little teaching for us.
Normaly every session is in the dojo, but this time we had rented a sport hall which we used most of the time, but the grading was in the dojo.
All together we had 9 sessions from thursday evening til sunday morning.
Shihan led us through kumite sessions with focus on balance,relaxation ,accuracy, timing and speed.
We worked in range 1-5 and transfer between.
He also did a session with bunkai from Tensho, very interesting.
Last post on the program sunday was dan and kyu test. It was a demanding test after several days of training, but the students was well prepared.
Two students went for dan test and they are now waiting for the result.
Sunday evening when everything was over we went to a resturant and had a good meal together.
After the camp I was left with a good feeling, all went well and instructors and students was happy.
Hope this event helps us to work even harder in the future to develop So Kyokushin.

Kyokushinkai Karate tournament organized by Shihan Casto sokyokushin Italy
On June 4, 2022, a Kyokushinkai Karate tournament organized by Shihan Casto sokyokushin Italywas held at the sports hall in parabita. About 18 dojos from all over Italy participated in this event for a total of 150 athletes. This event dedicated to the master who passed away a few years ago Shihan Tommaso Nicoletti is for all of us an important opportunity for comparison between our athletes and a meeting point between the various kyokushinkai karate schools. Shihan Casto at the end of the competition thanked all the teachers and athletes present, wishing everyone to be able to meet again as soon as possible all together for a new event like this!

During the training camp, we managed to participate in competitions that took place nearby in the city of Temryuk 05/08/2022.
So-Kyokushin AGADZHANYAN-OISHI DOJO students took part in competitions and won:
・13-gold, 4-silver and 8-bronze.
・Kata gold-2,silver-1 and bronze-1
・Kumite gold-11, silver-4 and bronze-7
