Respected Sir,
I have tried to send the membership fee from my state (Tamil Nadu) due to the election deceleration and Pan card issues, I couldn’t transfer money from my account. So, I requested Sensei Siba Sankar Das’s help and he agreed to transfer the amount from his account. We have sent money to his account on 10/03/2016. According to Sense Das, his bank’s internal server has some problems which makes a delay in transferring the money. He has informed us and had told that he even conveyed the issue to Japan.
We had planned to organize a South India Championship on 27th March 2016. We had discussed with Sensei Das about it and he had given his complete support for the same. So, We have successfully completed the Championship.
Sir, We request your guidance and suggestions always as we wish to grow more in so-kyokushin. Please forgive us if we have made any mistakes.

So-Kyokushin Karate Training Camp,Vumba Mountains at Summer Place (Zimbabwe)
As a build up to the 47th All Japan Open Karate Tournament scheduled for the 16th to the 17th of this month in Shizuoka City, Japan where we willl be leaving Zimbabwe tomorrow, Wednesday (13 April) with fighters, Admire Chingozhoro, Shadreck Chigombe, Kelly Farayi Mtisi and Samson Muripo; the Shorin Kempo Karate Tournament in Thokoza, Johannesburg on the 28th of May and the 2nd All Africa Championships scheduled for the 23rd of July in Harare, we organised a training camp in Vumba where Karatekas from 10 dojo’s ( namely Mutare, Mufakose, Mabvuku, Warren Park, Glen View 1, Glen View 3, Budiriro 5, Glen Norah A, Highfields and Mas Oyama DOJO)
converged as one family to train with no disturbances while getting a little leisure time and fresh air away from our usual training places.
It is also a preparatory campaign for Our 1st So-Kyokushin International Karate Tournament pencilled for July in Harare next year which will be graced by Hanshi Daigo Oishi-9th Dan from Japan, the Vice-President of the International Karate Organization KYOKUSHIN KAIKAN: World So-Kyokushin. We arrived a bit late on Friday so we did not train as scheduled. On Saturday morning, day two, we had three training sessions. All Karatekas woke up early to brave the rain and cold characteristic of the area. The first training session of the day began with Kumite (sparring) then went on to finish off with basics. The second after breakfast and a little rest also started with some Kumite and basics with more physic training. The third session just before supper was based on moving basics and perfecting kicking techniques. Sunday morning was a little warmer and the focus was mainly on perfecting kata’s. You will realise that following such intense training under extreme weather conditions, when the fighters return home they would have developed stronger resistance and their muscles and systems can withstand more pressure. This is just one of many more outings to come with Our next Training Camp to being held in Guruve District, Mashonaland Central, date to be announced. What we intend to achieve is resilience, conditioning all vital organs to withstand pressure from whichever angle, getting to know each other as the So-Kyokushin Karate family and learn more without outside pressures. Also to learn to stick together and be a team, protecting and taking care of one another as one family. Training camps help develop love for the sport too, which makes the karateka more committed and also lures more to join the sport which is largely misunderstood as a violent sport. So-kyokushin is a full contact karate style which focuses mainly on discipline and ettiquette, self defence, courtesy abd respect, control of the mind and temper, weight management, improved social skills, confidence and self esteem, boosts morale determination and perseverence, pushing the body to withstand outside pressure that comes with life in general. We are one of the few sporting disciplines that have achieved so much in terms of raising the countries flag high in every tournament we compete in, bringing champions and many awards for Zimbabwe, our talent blessed nation.

Report Norwegian So kyokushin winter kumite camp
8.Th Winter kumite camp Norway
29-31 of January Tromsø karate kyokushinkai held a kumite camp in the city of Tromsø.
About 50 students’ children and grown-ups attended this weekend. All together there were students from 3 different dojo this year.
As many times before Senpai Steffen Haukedalen was the main instructor. He gave good instructions with a focus on hitting point and the importance of choosing you’re technics according to the distance to your opponents. He also focused on the important of footwork.
We did many different practical exercises two and two and as usual there were also little stamina at the end of every class.
After training Saturday evening we had dinner together, food tasted good after a hard day of training.
Sunday we had tournament training, student could try fighting in tournament like situation with a fight leader and audients.
We believe a camp like this helps us to increase the interest for fighting and taking part in tournaments and this year there is So Kyokushin world tournament.
Next year we are ready again.
Thanks to everyone who attended this year.
Osu!
